Our Story
Ayavex Solutions was founded by Tsolmon and Shaun, two mining engineers who saw problems in their careers that they knew technology and data could solve. We decided to build the solutions ourselves rather than continue to see them go unsolved while we waited for vendors to catch up.
We've worked in open pits, underground, hard rock, oilsands, control rooms and at building mine plans. We've seen from multiple perspectives the gap between what operations need and what's available to them. So we started building.
Our approach is simple: start with the problem, understand it deeply, then build the minimum technology needed to solve it. No bloated features or heavy software stacks. No solutions looking for problems. We add complexity only as it's required to solve a problem. The goal is to provide practical tools that work to enable operations.

Mining engineer with 10 years of experience Tsolmon also has a M.A.SC in mining. His experience has focused on ungerground mining and geotechnical monitoring solutions. Tsolmon is passionate about deriving value from data.
Shaun Storbakken
CTO
Mining engineer with 10 years of experience. His experience combines open pit mining operational, planning, and dispatch engineering with software development skills. Shaun is passionate about data integration and the insights created through it.
